I'm Vasudev Menon, a designer, an abstract artist, a born arien, a staunch optimist and a concrete analyst. Early morning mists and hill stations are my weaknesses.
I have spent 23 years designing enterprise applications, web and mobile interfaces for Financial majors and for New Media initiatives. Over the course of this time, I have also set up design experience platforms, contributed to design thinking strategies, mentored designers, contributed individually and team wise to the product and the application design world .
The mantra that designers should always be hands-on, drives my work. While I work actively with Program managers, Business Analysts, stakeholders, UX and UI front-end development peers on a daily basis, I also have exposure in working directly with my Design directors, CIO and COOs. In addition to that I have been responsible and accountable for various senior management design initiatives.
I have built and managed a team of visual designers ground up in multiple locations/countries. I know my way around in the world of agile and sprint as I manage projects on a daily basis from this part of the world.
